As a commemoration to Mental Health Month, Fellowship House holds its annual Family Night in May. Members’ and staffs’ families as well as neighbors and other members of our community are invited to listen to stories of triumph and learn about mental illness. The goal of this important event is to dispel some of the stigmas associated with mental illness and educate others about our services. Our next Family Night will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at our South Miami location at 5711 South Dixie Highway. Please join us as we learn together!

Fellowship House thrives from the magnanimous contributions of donors such as yourself. We are partnering with The Miami Foundation for their Give Miami Day, the biggest annual giving event in the Southeast United States. Twenty-four hours of giving begins at 12:00 a.m. November 21 and ends at 12:00 a.m. on November 22, 2019. We are deeply saddened to report the passing of our beloved founding Board Member and friend, Mr. Irving Kreisberg. As a dedicated member of our Board of Directors since the agency’s inception in 1973, Irv made immeasurable contributions to Fellowship House throughout the last four decades. Not only did he bring his expertise and leadership to the Board, but he was a steadfast advocate for the members we serve, and could always be found celebrating holidays and events with our members and staff. We will greatly miss his sharp wit, kindness and friendship.
Time to lift the curtain and show the world what you’ve got! Lights, camera, ACTION! It is time once again where our members are given the opportunity to show off their unique fashion sense and strut their stuff down the Fellowship House red carpet to flashing lights and great music or to display those hidden talents for the world. There will be plenty of singing, dancing, poetry and acting to leave everyone wanting more.

Our Hispanic Fiesta celebration serves as a remembrance of important people and events in the history of Hispanic Heritage. Hosted by members and staff, the event is held in October and is a big event within our community.
This event is quickly becoming one of the member’s and staff’s favorites. The members, along with a few staff, serve as the official Prom Committee and plan everything from the theme, decorations, music and the food/ beverages that will be served. The theme changes every year!
Time to get out your stencils, markers and paintbrushes. Each group/workshop creates a theme for their art and displays them here at the annual Art Show. The displays are so well presented and the art is so fantastic that members and staff are able to purchase them at an auction held at the end of the show.
Annual Fellowship House Dave Barry & Michelle Kaufman Holiday Luncheon. The event location is to be determined. Where members and staff come together to celebrate the holidays to come with food, music and dancing.
This event is very beneficial to the members. Each group/ workshop researches a health topic and presents it during the health fair. It is an encouraging way for members to think of ways to better themselves to live a fit and healthy lifestyle.
